Best local ❤️❤️❤️🍵🍵🍵 good food
In the meantime, appearances are more popular than being. The traditional restaurant for long-established haunstetter was probably once. Today you go to SchickiMicki, but you can't do it, that's very sad! When we entered the pub at 5:45 p.m., we were probably one of the first guests, because the staff was still walking around without a face mask. We were apparently not noticed at all, but then a waiter noticed us and led us to the table in the farthest corner. Ok, that's probably what Corona is doing, then we shouldn't care. Unfortunately the waiter had a visor on and no mouth and nose protection, which is demonstrably not allowed, but ok, if he can work better with it, we should be fine. We were then served by a young lady who put the menus down for us and immediately asked about the drinks. Since it is apparently no longer common to be served a drinks menu in front of or with the menu, we only got this on request. The prices are very high and for Haunstetten on an above-average high level, especially when you consider that the Settele stands for good home-style cuisine and that young and old have had their fill. Well, it must have been a long time ago. With a pumpkin cream soup for 6 € which was empty after exactly 10 spoons and also only lukewarm, the cheek has taken its course. In the main course, the onion roast was not fried enough as it was wanted. After roasting it again, it was burnt in places. The hoof steak in the 300g variant was billed like a 300g steak, but that was never 300g. I also found the steak at a neighboring table and asked what size was ordered. 200g had been ordered there, but my 300g steak looked exactly the same size. So I felt ripped off. The size of the stuffed veal breast offered was a joke and the spaetzle were cold. One looked in vain for the calf with the filling that was too large. The dessert, a warm chocolate cake, by the way the only dessert on the menu, was already over, although we were the first guests to order a dessert at all. We were then offered a hazelnut parfait, which we took and here too the size of the portion is much too small. When we paid, I took the liberty of telling the waitress that the portions are just way too small for the prices. I understand good upscale cuisine, but that also includes high quality of the food and the associated availability. In addition, a waiter has to understand his job and the cutlery should not be on the bare table. All in all, I can no longer recommend the Settele. You want to go for thick trousers and upscale gastronomy, but you can't get it under control that you can't calm down screaming children by, as the host, perhaps admonishing the parents and in all seriousness even allowing dogs in the restaurant. In addition, you have juicy prices and do not deliver quality from the kitchen. Conclusion: At € 35 per nose you won't get full and you also have to endure a noise level like in the train station and the food was not prepared as desired and the quantity is simply not sufficient. Please make improvements!
Very tasty but the portions were very small!
Very, very nice, great service and very tasty food.
Very tasty food, nice ambience and friendly staff! Gladly again :-) Food: Roast beef with cheese spaetzle
The Gasthaus Settele is a beautifully renovated guest house with home-style German cuisine. The menu offers a large selection of all kinds of German specialties. The schnitzel in particular is highly recommended here and (at least in my opinion) something like the flagship of the restaurant: very thin veal schnitzel, cooked to the point, i.e. still juicy on the inside and wonderfully crispy thanks to the breading. The other dishes are also impressive and are served in sufficient portions. The waiting times for the ordered dishes were always reasonable. It should be emphasized positively that you have a view of the kitchen (an open kitchen) and can thus convince yourself that everything is going well. The waitresses are usually very friendly and diligently take care of the culinary well-being of their guests thanks to frequent inquiries as to whether everything is satisfactory. However, you can feel the stress of one or the other employee at peak times. With a high number of visitors you have to - understandably - be prepared for slightly longer waiting times. The price-performance ratio is appropriate, the atmosphere in the restaurant is homely (and yet modern thanks to the renovation mentioned above). All in all, the Settele in Augsburg is a good address for middle-class German cuisine and is therefore recommended.
Excellent cuisine, attentive, friendly service, price-performance ratio absolutely okay, we would love to come back
Nice guest house well attended despite a somewhat hidden location. Unfortunately, we did not reserve seats in good time, so we had to be satisfied with the seat that was still free. The delicious food made up for it in a special way! Friendly, attentive and very nice staff. An "insider tip" very recommendable.
It was just disappointing. The food was lukewarm. The onion roast felt like 120 grams of meat. My wife's liver is sinewy and the mashed potatoes are served with Feritg mashed potatoes mixed with water. That is not how it works. The service to whom we complained about the food was downright cheeky and angry. I haven't seen anything like that in a long time. As an excuse we were given a fruit schnitzel without asking and garnished with plenty of fruit flies. We have been here a few times but we haven't seen it like that before. The operating staff is probably not even of legal age, then you have to stop at 10:00 p.m. to save personnel costs. In short, saved on the quality of the food and also on the staff. But you want to present a sophisticated ambience. Shame about the Settele .........
Very nice beer garden. Delicious food (small menu) and nice service. You can taste that quality is the top priority here. However, we found the portions a little too small for the high price.
Excellent German food and service. Nice decoration and calm atmosphere. I can't assess the price because they invited me :)
Very good service, great Edmssen, especially recommended if you can sit outside ...
Really nicely renovated inn with very good food! Accordingly, prices are not cheap either. A star deduction for the fact that there is only one foldable changing table in the changing room of the tennis changing room in the basement. Otherwise very nice!
Much of the taste here is a delicacy. The portions are an appealing and filling league. Not only the attentive staff was the total hit when I visited, but also the unique atmosphere. The table decorations on the seats and in the entire restaurant are appropriate and beautiful. The toilet is always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a nice impression. I can really recommend this place!
The dishes are very good. The service is friendly. Only the portions are a bit meager for the price called out.
It was great again today - the lunch menu selection was good and inexpensive - it is not for nothing that we have enjoyed eating there several times a week for years
A real delight: Great ambiente, delicious menu, quite diverse. Family friendly and very lovely waiters.
Adored just how fast the service was, will be coming back again. Great central location and always delicious menu choices, my favourite place to seize a bite. Will be coming back again, really loved our meal And Not too pricey. The personnel had been really courteous, happy with the service. Yummy food that caters to everybody's choices.
Excellent regional cuisine! The liver I was allowed to enjoy yesterday was the best I've eaten so far. It was a wonderful evening, with very attentive service despite the house being full! We are always happy to be there.
Great Bavarian restaurant with fabulous interior. The beer gardens are also very nice. Unfortunately, there are only a few parking spaces, but the restaurant can also be easily reached by public transport. The Settele really has the very best Kässpatzn in Augsburg and is absolutely worth one (or more) visits. Had on our last visit the Valentine's menu and it was really excellent!
Very good food
Food was nice but the lavender flavored cream was kinda weird. Still good though.
Outstanding food, professional and friendly staff, beautiful restaurant and beer garden. Can't wait to visit again!
Perfect food, really nice ambience, good service
Just visited this restaurant for a wedding, but was really impressed to find such a fancy and high-standard place in the depths of Haunstetten! Great interior design, open kitchen where you can watch the chefs doing their magic, wonderful beer and wine, solid vegetarian dishes.
